The Feather was created using acrylics and mediums with plaster to give texture and balance to the image.

My goal was to invoke a thought process from the viewer. Overall I wanted to keep the element of simplicity in the colors and shapes of the vessels. However, the lightest in weight being the feather having the dominant presence to the image.

We have such complex lives and experiences, that often it's the "little things" or the most "insignificant" moment that we are remembered for or better yet our gentle unspoken show of love that's our true show of strength in character.

The colors, light and composition are yummy

Excellent portrait reflecting the mood of the model

This painting brings to mind how fragile our environment is. On a recent hike in Lake Tahoe forest, saw how bark beetles have such a great effect on the forest.

Nice color, composition and mood, with wonderful brushstrokes! Love it!

Very believable use of color. Painterly brushstrokes and the glow of the sun through the tree keeps the viewer in the painting.
