In this abstract painting, I have combined both of my professions which I love: painting and astronomy. So I imagine the concentration of cosmic matter in the center of our Galaxy. A touch metallic copper and gold colors designate areas of increased light emission. Power and reverie. The question is where is humanity going?

The picture is painted using a mixed-media technique on a cotton canvas. Size 20 by 28 inches.

The colors, light and composition are yummy

Excellent portrait reflecting the mood of the model

This painting brings to mind how fragile our environment is. On a recent hike in Lake Tahoe forest, saw how bark beetles have such a great effect on the forest.

Nice color, composition and mood, with wonderful brushstrokes! Love it!

Very believable use of color. Painterly brushstrokes and the glow of the sun through the tree keeps the viewer in the painting.
