"Rockies" is an experiment with monochromatic study of a photo of the Canadian Rockies.  The expression of snow using raw umber was a challenge I couldn't wait to tackle.  I love how it turned out and how I can make it fit any decor, almost any colour as it somehow absorbs the undertones of it's surroundings.  

The artwork measures 36"x18"x1.5".
