    Surreal image representing failing conservation efforts. The floating island in the back is symbolic of habitat loss, the atlas moth within the rhino represents the starvation of resources - it being in a box symbolizes the human capitalization (and collection) of wildlife (pinning insects in boxes or making jewelry from their wings). Finally, the rhino is the most clear symbol - an endangered species - emerging from the border of the painting in order to make the viewer feel they are there.
