Full Moon III-MSave Favorites
Artists who take the time to observe Nature at any time of the day or night are given moments that could inspire enough to give rise for a series of Nocturnal delights. Seeing an object millions of miles away could spark an idea of possibly enlarging that very object to make it appear much closer so the artist can embellish it to make it even look more interesting. When standing on the ground and looking up at the night sky, the moon seems so very small indeed. With the privilege of flying high above the earth in an airplane, in days long passed, one could appreciate the heavens from a different vantage point. Recalling a few night flights not too long ago, this artist was mesmerized with the moon up above the clouds as the plane flew between the layers of the puffy clouds that seemed to stand so very still not aware of the speed at which the plane was flying. Recently this memory has stirred the desire to start another series of the moon and the night skies. It is great to be an artist to be able to observe the world and all its diverse surroundings for inspiration for all kinds of interesting subject matters.
