'Girls and dreams of electric sheep' is part of a current series called 'Portraits from the Bardo', an multi-layered exploration of what it is to be human, transformation, and perceptions of truth within cultural conditioning and norms. The title of this painting was taken in part by Philip Dick's famous science fiction novel-  Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep? Ridley Scott's 1982 film 'Blade Runner' was based on themes and storyline within Dick's novel.
