    Description

After the first Fall wind hits the bank of the North Shore of Lake Owassa, vines rise up during the night. The morning finds them wrapped around their mother tree in a goodbye embrace. The vines then fall, departing for the winter. But Mother tree's joy is so great in receiving their love she blushes, and her leaves begin to turn red. This is the story of Lake Owassa's Tree of Hearts and why Autumn leaves turn.

Beautiful approach - I feel the chill from the snow but the hints of the red background peeking through provide a lovely, warm contrast that's so inviting.

    Fun and very well done.

    Fantastic light!

    beautiful

This is a beautiful portrait. For this viewer that lovely face reflects innocence and purity, although that is perhaps not what the artist intended. Great skill is demonstrated with all the elements of this piece - particularly the textures of the hair and the cap. Overall it is an outstanding image.
