    Description

This portrait depicts my better half. Olive has always had a mysterious look ever since she was a little girl. Even today she loves Halloween, the color black and considers herself a witch, and this is exactly how I wanted to portray her. She is a very spiritual being with a great deal of patience. Although she has multiple sclerosis and lives with it everyday, she has never once complained about it. I love her eyes, hair and facial structure and I wanted to capture this beauty and simplicity of Olive in her element in this October moment portrait.

This really speaks to me. Well done!

Just an amazing work of art.

    Amazing watercolor.

Beautiful, can feel the quiet and almost a cricket.

Beautiful approach - I feel the chill from the snow but the hints of the red background peeking through provide a lovely, warm contrast that's so inviting.
