This abstract scene came from my mind. I spent a good amount of time at the Southern California coast during my younger years, so I had many memories to pull from. I was really in a melancholy kind of a mood and let my mood take charge of the color choices. This is a small but dynamic piece is 4.5" x 5.5" unframed (8"x 9" Framed) This is a mixture of watercolor and ink on Yupo Paper. The resulting textures are very interesting. As I mentioned my mood and emotion took over throughout the process.  I will admit though that the end result brought me joy and I am pleased to share it with you.  Thank you for viewing this piece.

This really speaks to me. Well done!

Just an amazing work of art.

    Amazing watercolor.

Beautiful, can feel the quiet and almost a cricket.

Beautiful approach - I feel the chill from the snow but the hints of the red background peeking through provide a lovely, warm contrast that's so inviting.
