    Description

This is the first part of my triptych dedicated to Joan of Arc. My goal is to capture the three most significant events related to her life.
    1. The first event is the appearance of Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Catherine of Alexandria and Margaret of Antioch before young Joan.
    2. The moment of military triumph of Joan of Arc
    3. Joan of Arc at the stake
Here is the central part of the triptych with the scene of burning.

The colors, light and composition are yummy

Excellent portrait reflecting the mood of the model

This painting brings to mind how fragile our environment is. On a recent hike in Lake Tahoe forest, saw how bark beetles have such a great effect on the forest.

Nice color, composition and mood, with wonderful brushstrokes! Love it!

Very believable use of color. Painterly brushstrokes and the glow of the sun through the tree keeps the viewer in the painting.
