    Description

This is a free concept piece that was rambling in my head for some time before I decided to paint it. We all have felt trapped or confined at some point in our lives. I love horses and this is the result of that feeling. The feeling of needing to break free. It depicts a wild horse busting through a painting. It's done in soft pastels on archival sanded Uart paper and framed.

Beautiful approach - I feel the chill from the snow but the hints of the red background peeking through provide a lovely, warm contrast that's so inviting.

    Fun and very well done.

    Fantastic light!

    beautiful

This is a beautiful portrait. For this viewer that lovely face reflects innocence and purity, although that is perhaps not what the artist intended. Great skill is demonstrated with all the elements of this piece - particularly the textures of the hair and the cap. Overall it is an outstanding image.
