Always on the lookout for interesting items to put in my still life setups, I knew as soon as I saw it that I wanted to paint this deer skull with its gorgeous antlers. I had it for ages but was unable to find just the right things to pair it with until a friend lent me the wonderful patterned rug it's now sitting on. The warm colours in the rug, a big, flat rock, some dried leaves and a pinecone all combine to give a feeling of fall which seemed to suit the deer skull perfectly.

This painting is professionally custom framed.

Shipping within Canada or the U.S. via FedEx in a strong box specifically built for shipping artwork is an additional $250. Shipping elsewhere in the world would need to be costed out and a quote provided.
