A cacophony of shapes and lines join together in a swirling, joyful dance intentionally unaware of expectation. Layers of opaque and transparent colors invite us in to participate and be present.

Through the expressive and formal language of painting and drawing, my art practice explores the messy, imperfect, transitory and ultimately beautiful struggle to find what exists in the space between our thoughts. A safe place that when truly listening, we can learn about selflessness from our ego, strength from our vulnerabilities, and compassion from our judgements.

The colors, light and composition are yummy

Excellent portrait reflecting the mood of the model

This painting brings to mind how fragile our environment is. On a recent hike in Lake Tahoe forest, saw how bark beetles have such a great effect on the forest.

Nice color, composition and mood, with wonderful brushstrokes! Love it!

Very believable use of color. Painterly brushstrokes and the glow of the sun through the tree keeps the viewer in the painting.
