"Helle-Kin" is one of Jantus first oil paintings. It was done during his stay in Berlin at Kunstgut Academy. The use of oil bar is a new resource in Jantus visual language.

Helle-Kin is the root word for "harlequin" and at the same time the name of god Odin alter ego.

Very believable use of color. Painterly brushstrokes and the glow of the sun through the tree keeps the viewer in the painting.

This painting just draws the viewer in. Really like the reflections in the puddles and the depth of field.

    So good!

This really speaks to me. Well done!
