    Description

This sultry vixen in fur is smoking in an alley in Chicago with the L train behind her. I really concentrated on the low saturation greenish tones of this painting to show the feeling of the gritty interaction between the city's alley and the girl who doesn't look like she belongs there, but fits in nicely.

    Are you kidding me?

Needs more work and discipline. Keep painting but learn foreshortening and composition skills. Skies run from back to front and front to back.....not top to bottom. I'm not preaching, I'm just educating.

    PATTERNS, ETC

I love the light in this piece. Watercolor is such a beautiful medium when executed properly like this. Kudos to Chris on this piece. Love the folding of cloth with the black and white pattern. Great job!

    Those Gleams

These mandarins look good enough to peel and eat and the gleams make them highly realistic. Against the colorful quilt, they just pop!

    Magical

Very unique. I like it the more I look at it. I am very intrigued by the fact it's glow-in-the-dark

I love the way you created the sense of distance in this painting. Depicting the horizon line on a slight curve is very effective!
