    Expanded Professional Painting Reviews

This painting illustrates a vast, sterile landscape viewed from a somewhat elevated position. There are a few tall, structural elements, some resembling cell towers, located on the tilted plane. Vine-like shapes surround the supporting poles of the structures. Angelic, winged forms are aloft, suspended between desolate land and stormy skies.

One of the most important aspects of a painting beyond great execution is to convey a feeling or to cause some kind of emotional response from the viewer. Although this can be subjective, it is something to strive for as an artist and often if not always makes the art stand out beyond just good composition, form, line and color.
